02:32 pm - Responsibility, oh shit! Scored myself a job as a cashier at the local Shopper's Drug Mart down at River City Centre. It's full time, and I'll usually be putting in 8 hour days all the time, but for $13/hr, I think it should be worth the trouble. 11:36 pm Payed the doc a visit today and he recommended I try some medicinos to clear up this acne I've got going on. I'm down with the idea if it means being able to get my clear skin back, but this time without the squeaky voice and hairless legs to accompany it. Of course, it's got some wacky side effects, but thankfully these are very rare. Most notable are; inflammation of the penis and suicidal thoughts. Now, if this stuff makes my goods bigger, I'm not complaining. And having my acne clear up would no doubt make me happy and not emo-tastical. 08:51 am - SNES multiplayer = yes While it's not exactly the most legit way of playing on the SNES, yesterday Zeppelin and myself spent a good lot of the afternoon netplaying through ZSNES. Awesome stuff, that. First game we hit up was Killer Instinct. I chose Glacius, he went with Orchid and we were off. Needless to say, we had many intense matches but somehow, through my mindless button mashing, I came out on top. We then gave Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 a go, but it wasn't much fun due to lag and the rom's serious mutilation of the soundtrack. Andy then decided to break for some dinner. He got back shortly, and we booted up KI once more. My, how tables can turn. For the majority of the matches, I was getting the business end of Orchid's stick things. It was all good though, many intense matches were had. One in particular was when we were both Riptors, and were inches away from each other, crouched down, hitting the same button, with each other just out of reach. Fun stuff. Finally, we gave Jurassic Park II a run. Haha, that was something else.. we tried every mission and failed every single one, but the hilarity of our attempts made it worth-while. 12:43 am After living in my Xbox for the past week, I beat Stranger's Wrath tonight. Awesome awesome game. I don't want to spoil anything for those not familiar with the game's ending, but I must say it's quite heartfelt. On a completely unrelated note, I talked with Gurney on the phone earlier tonight. It was well hidden, and was the last copy. Woo. Close one. I would have got Psychonauts or another copy of PoP2, but both were priced too high for my liking. 03:20 pm - My gods... This internet connection has been so hit and miss lately. More miss than hit, mind. I called MTS (my ISP), and they said it's probably caused by moisture and condensation getting at the DSL lines buried underground. This could very well be the source of the problem, as the snow is starting to melt now. It better hurry and melt, damnit.
